2007 YCB YEAR IN REVIEW
2007 was a breakthrough year in many areas of the YCB – from early childhood screening in homeless shelters and
model parenting education and support in targeted communities; to outreach from MPS Family Resource Centers to newly arriving
families around health care and social support; to youth resource mapping, strategies to increase access to OST opportunities
including circulating buses, and youth engagement in policy. We couldn’t have
done it without dedicated staff, a committed Board of Directors and wonderful
partners in the parks, schools, libraries, county, city and community. Here
are some of the highlights from 2007.
You^th
Are Here Buses
Lack of safe and reliable transportation is a major barrier preventing
youth from participating in youth program opportunities. In order
to help eliminate this barrier, the YCB has created two You^th
Are Here bus routes. The bus is free, but registration is required.

registration forms. The Youth
Are Here bus
