In 2007, Kelley-Ariwoola successfully completed a term as the Interim President and CEO of the Minneapolis Foundation. She is a leader in the foundation community and is engaged both locally and nationally on issues related to the social justice work of the foundation. Kelley-Ariwoola is passionate about advocating for the needs of families and young children and has spent her entire career in service to community.

She serves as Chair of the Association of Black Foundation Executives. Since 2007, Kelley-Ariwoola also serves as co-chair of Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak's Youth Violence Prevention steering committee which is charged with leading the work of Minneapolis' Youth Violence Blueprint for Action to reduce youth violence in Minneapolis.

Prior to joining The Minneapolis Foundation, she held senior level positions at the Family Resource Coalition/Family Support America and the Ounce of Prevention Fund in Chicago.

Kelley-Ariwoola holds a Master’s Degree from DePaul University in Chicago and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Western Illinois University.
