Our application deadline is April 6, 2023. The Minneapolis City Council allocated $50,000 from the City of Minneapolis 2023 budget to the Minneapolis Youth Coordinating Board (YCB) to support summer youth development programs and activities. The Youth in Minneapolis Afterschool Programs (YMAP) Summer Fund intends to invest in qualified organizations to support quality youth development approaches to address educational disparities exacerbated by COVID-19 in disproportionately affected communities during summer 2023. Proposed projects or programs can be focused on helping children and youth to re-engage, recover, and accelerate learning and development after the severe disruptions caused by the pandemic. This RFA is a one-time summer contract starting May 15, 2023 through December 31, 2023. Applicants may request funding amounts between $10,000-$20,000. Existing, expanded, and new activities will all be considered. Eligible applicants must have a 501(c)(3) status or have a 501(c)(3) fiscal agent. Thank you for considering this funding opportunity.
