Coordination & Collaboration of jurisdictional and community partners to strengthen and expand the field of out-of-school time.

Together we create a common vision and shared goals across afterschool program providers, schools, city and county, families and youth, and funding organizations in order to:

  • Facilitate coordination and collaboration
  • Support diverse, quality afterschool programming
  • Guide local and state level afterschool level  policy to increase and stabilize funding for the field

The Minneapolis Afterschool Network utilizes a citywide management information system for sharing data in order to:

  • Identify where children and youth lack access to programs
  • Address and shrink the opportunity gap
  • Link afterschool participation with academic outcomes and social emotional learning
  • Provide real-time data for better decision making
  • Evaluate overall impact of afterschool programming
  • Tell the story!
