The YCB Reports project is a combination of both statistics (State of Youth) and personal accounts (Voices of Our Generation) that highlight the current state of child and adolescent health in the City.
The 2015 State of Youth Minneapolis project tracks 15 child and youth health indicators. The indicators reflect three critical dimensions in the lives of children and youth: safe and supportive environments, healthy development, and learning readiness and performance.
For the 2015 Voices of Our Generation project 43 youth, primarily of color shared their perspectives. The participants ranged in age from 12-21 and were asked about a variety of topics, such as city and community living, social connections, education, support and mentorship as well as adolescent health.
