Rachel Oberg-Hauser's professional experience ranges from community organizing, emergency home repair and youth volunteer programming in rural Appalachia, to the non-profit arts.

Prior to joining YCB, Oberg-Hauser worked at Greater Twin Cities United Way as a Community Impact Program Manager in the Education & Jobs impact area. In her position she was responsible for managing the Learn, Lead and Succeed grant portfolio totaling $5.7million annually that supports high-quality youth programs for 6-12 graders, and works with a variety of community collaborations.

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Kate’s in Justice & Peace Studies and Women’s Studies, and a Masters of Social Work degree in Community Practice from the University of Minnesota.
